I'm Aiyesha Dey, I’ve been an associate professor of accounting at Harvard Business School since July 2017. My career started at the Booth School of Business, University of Chicago, and then I joined the Carlson School of Management, University of Minnesota. During the 2016-2017 academic year, I was a visiting scholar at the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, where I worked on several policy initiatives.
I earned my bachelor’s degree in Mathematics with honors in 1996 and received the National Scholar Award from the Indian government. In 1999, I completed my MBA in Accounting and Finance. I continued my studies at Kellogg School of Management, Northwestern University, and graduated with a PhD in Accounting in 2005.
